Effortless Everywhere
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Debuts in Romania

The new Rolls-Royce Cullinan has made its official debut in Romania.

Just a few months after its global online unveil, the motor car was presented for the very first time in public at the Diplomatic Club in Bucharest.

Michael Schmidt, Dealer Principal of Schmidt Premium Cars and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service Bucharest, emphasized: “The Who-is-Who of the society in the Romanian capital will see Cullinan during an exclusive event over the next couple of days. Our presence here in Bucharest, the recent unveil of New Phantom at the Bucharest Motor Show earlier this year and the presentation of this new model underpin the importance of Romania to Rolls-Royce.”

Speaking at a media reception, Andrew Noble, British Ambassador to Romania, commented: “The UK’s luxury industry shows continuously increasing levels of investment that’s helping to create jobs in Great Britain and around the world. The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy stands like no other emblem for the Best of British, and we are delighted to see the first 4x4 Rolls-Royce motor car here in Bucharest.”

“The Rolls-Royce Cullinan offers plenty of luxury and on-road Rolls-Royce smoothness in an extremely versatile every-day driving car. This new motor car will be Effortless, Everywhere, delivering effortless luxury everywhere its owner chooses to venture,” said Frank Tiemann, Director Corporate Communications Central and Eastern Europe, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the answer to customers’ requests to make the dream of authentic off-road travel with true luxury come true. Being the second new Rolls-Royce to sit on the all-new aluminium ‘Architecture of Luxury’, Cullinan is therefore uncompromising in not sharing platforms with other brands or models.

“Taking advantage of the ‘Architecture of Luxury’, our designers created a truly unique and uncompromising vehicle for those who do not accept limitations in their lifestyles”, continued Tiemann.

Named after the largest diamond ever discovered, the first all-terrain high-bodied Rolls-Royce is a peerless off-roader, capable to conquer any obstacle and reach every destination. Dozens of road tests all over the planet showed: the car is capable to handle rough terrain with confidence and agility. In this, Cullinan’s sophisticated adjustable air suspension secures the famed Rolls-Royce ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ at all terrains whether off- or on-road. At the same time this is the first ever truly “three-box” car in the SUV-segment. Its partition wall creates a distinct environment for passengers, separated from the luggage compartment

The new 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 Rolls-Royce engine delivers 563bhp/420kW and 850Nm/627lb ft of torque to the all-new all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer system needed to overcome any challenge.

Being a true Rolls-Royce, Cullinan offers a suite of Bespoke features developed specifically for the many various lifestyles of its owners. One of the most prominent options is the Recreation Module – a special motorised drawer housing the equipment and paraphernalia specific to each Cullinan owner’s pursuits. It is situated in the car’s rear compartment and can be opened easily at the touch of a button. One of the options for the Recreation Module is the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Viewing Suite – with just a single press of a button two rear-facing, finest leather chairs and a cocktail table emerge from within the Module. Wherever one travels, the Viewing Suite guarantees the best seat in the house.

“Cullinan will be perfectly at home taking the children to school as it will be arriving at an opera hall on opening night. It will carry you in style to your favourite riverside fishing spot in the mountains while effortlessly ploughing through snowy roads to reach your winter chalet near Poiana Brasov,” commented Schmidt.

First customers will receive their Cullinan in the first quarter 2019.
